On April 16th 2004, Cap was humanely put to sleep. He had gone blind (due to his stressful trialing career and previous injuries) and would not have been happy sitting at home. I wish our time together had been longer. He taught me a lot but there is so much more for me to learn.
Cap had a big heart and the best disposition of any dog I have ever owned. His ashes were spread under a big Oak tree in a pasture full of sheep. Rest in peace, Cap, you’ve earned it.
